Useful Tips for Travelers

  • Travelers should contact the relevant consulate or embassy prior to applying for a visa to learn about the application procedures and documentation needed to obtain the visa.
  • Visas are usually stamped or attached to the inside of a passport, so travelers must be prepared to submit their passports to the consulate or embassy. The following is a list of items that are often requested with a visa application:
    • A valid passport minimum for 6 months.
    • One or more passport-sized photos.
