The Czech Republic is an ideal destination for an active holiday, where visitors can relax, but can also improve their health and fitness. Visitors can go on a seven-day wine tour in Moravia, or take advantage of golf packages or castle tours. Whether you relax yourself in spas in Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne, or bike around the country, hike in the mountains, you will find it here. Tourism has largely focused on Prague, thanks to its excellent museums, galleries, concerts and other attractions.

This magical city of bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church domes, has been mirrored in the surface of the swanfilled Vltava River for more than ten centuries. Undamaged by WWII, Prague’s compact medieval centre remains a wonderful mixture of cobbled lanes, walled courtyards, cathedrals and countless church spires all in the shadow of her majestic 9th century castle that looks eastward as the sun sets behind her. Prague is also a modern and vibrant city full of energy, music, cultural art, fine dining and special events catering to the independent traveller’s thirst for adventure.

Karlovy Vary is a picturesque spa town, which literally means Karl’s Bath (Carlsbad), the town features colourful and whimsical architecture. A stroll down the street in this city can be a big treat. The city received a complete makeover in 1989, which led to the city having various vantage points scattered all around.
